Thanks again to everybody who braved the elements to attend last week’s meeting. It was another great night with a wonderful speaker in Marcia Tesoriero. From a club point of view, Des highlighted that membership dues were tracking well. Please ensure you can finalise your payments as soon as possible so that we can honour our contribution to District & RI in a timely manner. Greg followed up with attendance for the District Conference in February next year. So far we have approximately 8 members attending. We only need 2 more to hit our goals of 10 attendees so I encourage everyone to think hard about making it as I’m sure it will be a fantastic experience. Thanks again Sam for filling in for Sergeant Graeme, it is very much appreciated. The Joker is still “Wild” (Still have to work out how Michael manages to get the winning ticket each time!). The annual Debutante Balls are coming up on Friday 24th & Saturday 25th August. There is always some last minute support that will be needed so please get ready to provide any assistance that Geoff & his committee may need. This is not only one of our better money raisers but is also an iconic community event.
