Ladies and Gentlemen,Thanks to Ken Rook for providing the information below.It is with deep sadness that members of Pakenham East Probus are notified of the passing of esteemed foundation member, Anna Huyskens.Anna and her husband Charley (who predeceased her) were very supportive of the club and activities since its inauguration in 2006.Daughter Stella (Miller) has been a wonderful support for her mother and made sure that Anna attended Probus meetings and outings whenever she was well enough. Through failing health for more than a year now, this was no longer possible. Anna had been suffering from dementia but thank God, she still knew the family when they visited.After suffering a recent fall, her condition deteriorated even further and she passed away early this morning, Friday, 17 August.Funeral details are as yet unknown.
